Correctional Service Canada (CSC) offers all its employees and Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This program is a voluntary and confidential support service. It helps:
- employees
- their family members, and
- their dependents
The EAP:
- addresses concerns that affect their personal and work well-being
- provides a professional, short-term, problem-solving service
- provides support in difficult situations

Eligibility and confidentiality
The short-term counselling done with our external counselling service provider is free of charge for:
- employees
- their spouse, and
- their dependants
It is confidential and voluntary.
They have a large network of 3,000 counsellors from coast to coast.

How to access LifeWorks
You can get these services through:
- in-person meetings
- telephone or video counselling
- online chat options, or
- self-learning
LifeWorks has different options to access their services.
Online
To access LifeWorks online:
- Access the LifeWorks login page using the Google Chrome web browser
- In the Username field, enter CSC-SCC
- Select Next
- In the Password field, enter Canada
- Select Remember Me
- Select Log In
After logging in, you can:
- visit the Support and Resources section to access hundreds of:
- articles
- eBooks
- infographics
- audio recordings
- toolkits, and more
- access the Wellbeing tab for more information and tools
Mobile app
The app is the best way to keep LifeWorks with you on the go, wherever you go. It is available for use on mobile phones and tablets.
To access LifeWorks on your mobile device:
- tap the icon on your device’s screen to launch
- Select Log in
- In the Username field, enter CSC-SCC
- Select Continue
- In the Password field, enter Canada
- Select Continue
